Imagine this: A home built on nine telephone poles situated in a rustic setting on the beautiful St. Lawrence River. The original goal was a simple face lift, however once the project began, the need for a major overhaul became quite evident. Our client wanted smooth consistency between rooms and a way to deal with tricky spaces that were hindering the view.
The result was a beautiful blend of transitional cabinetry of aluminum, with stainless steel accents, and modern deep gray finishes. Hickory hardwood flooring and exposed architectural wood beams warm up the cool cabinetry. The beams frame the large high ceiling living area which features double stacked windows to capture the view. The use of creative built-ins provided for transitioning between rooms and unveiling this unique home’s biggest asset – the river view.
